The Town of Rivesville was on a boil water advisory starting 12/8/2022. We contracted Quality Water Services to serve as our certified operator coverage starting 12/15/2022. Chlorine residuals were monitored everyday of the month of December 2022. the appropriate Boil Water Bacti samples were collected and passed for our system. Records of these samples can be provided upon request. On 12/26/2022 the advisory was lifted. We are confident that the water in December was maintained in good condition, and we have followed all the protocols to correct this issue.

Amen!!! I agree. People from WV have been so brain washed by Trump, Fox News, Newsmax etc. that they have lost their sense of reasoning. Joe Manchin, who makes over half a million dollars a year off of his coal mines, doesn't care if the people of West Virginia live on starvation wages, nor does he want people to have free and fair elections. Time to go Joe!

Christian conservatives are just desperate. Theyre grasping at straws of the past, deluding themselves into thinking hes a new ronald reagan. It is very disappointing to see so many people eating lies without thinking on the situation with their own mind. I think a big problem is this glut of information that we are inundated with daily. Personally, i watch about 15 min of news in the morning and thats it. I dont own a smartphone, and i refuse to polarize myself politically. I believe this makes for a better me. Ill bet $100 that biden has told as many (if not more) bald faced lies as trump. That is simply what politicians do. As long as the people keep forgetting that fact, nothing will change. Furthermore, our rights are ours to maintain. The federal government will love when the people surrender their freedom of choice for another socialist stimulation check, or for just the promise of prosperity and social equity. Which is kinda coincidental considering that that is how many communist regimes get started.. . If we dont pull our heads out of 'the cloud', then we will all dance to our doom, just like rats following the pied piper. And it wont matter whether he is wearing a red shirt or a blue one.. . We need to all be examples for one another. Take accountability for your attitude and your choices. Dont let these tiny screens manipulate us into serfdom. Stop hating just because the tv said so. You are so right, I think we all, me included, should try harder to keep our democracy that the republicans and trump are trying to take by stopping the people's vote. we have become a country just like Russia and all the other countries that cheat to win, even murder people who are running against them. There was no big steal. That is just Sean, Trump, Rudy, Sean, Newsmax, Fox news and those ignorant, stupid as hell, Anon who spread the big lie. Trump couldn't stand to lose, so he lies about everything. He is an adulterer, a liar, a thief, a draft dodger, a woman hater etc., the thing that gets me in the gut is those so called Christians who uphold him and think he's wonderful. He has broken every commandment and went against everything that the the New testament tells us to do, such as kindness, love, forgiveness, compassion etc. I don't see any of those in Trump.

Yep, good old Joe Manchin who says he works for WV resident's and loves them so much that he won't approve of a $15. 00 an hour pay raise, LOL! I would like to see Joe and Gail live on the minimum wage for a month! A man who has about 4 million dollars in assets doesn't care about the men and women who struggle every day to feed their families, pay the bills and everything else. I think we have a cold hearted man as a Senator, who only cares about his money and kiss everyone's ass in Washington, to please Trump and those morons who are trying to take voting rights away.. To whom it may concern, This is a call for action against the head of Human Resources and head of Environmental Health and Safety at the Novelis Aluminum plant located at 1800 Speedway Ave, Fairmont, WV. Bill Williams, Our plant’s head of Environmental Health and Safety conducted temperature scans for Tuesday’s 11-7 shift on Monday night before we walked through the gate with a camera-like device that sits on a tripod. He was accompanied by our head of Human Resources Jason Miller and a shift supervisor. Using myself as a example, I have taken my temperature at home over the weekend and throughout the past days before coming into work. I was scanned at 96. 3 degrees. I confronted the reading by telling Bill Williams “This isn’t accurate at all, Bill. I took my temperature this evening and it was 98. 4. ” Bill did not give any reply or information, instead it was ignored. I then entered into the plant. I recently spoke with Wilbur Smith, our USW Local 1 Unit President and he stated that our Nurse confirmed with him that the temperature is 4 degrees low from the tripod thermometer. Wilbur’s temperature was 94. 4 via the thermal scan and then read 98. 4 with a infrared style thermometer that is held to the head to get a reading. Other coworkers reported their temperatures scanned in anywhere from 87 to 97 degrees with the thermal scanner on the tripod. Not everyone is getting their temperature taken with the thermometer that’s held to your head. One of our coworkers had their temperature taken by the guard before Bill arrived and stepped in to re-scan him. Bill did the scan again then stated that his temperature was high and to “just get it checked again on your way out in the morning. ” Jason Miller was present and witness to this action. This coworker did just what he was told by asking to get his temperature read while on his way out, however Bill refused him. To make our workplace even more at exposure to the potential this virus has, our plant is accepting trucks and the drivers to enter our workplace that are traveling to and from Mexico and other areas faraway in the US. As you may know there are travel regulations that prohibit CDL drivers from driving more than 14 hours. This one person, just their self is traveling through multiple states and making multiple stops along the way. Yes, the drivers are being scanned before entering for their temperatures, but as mentioned before the device in use is inaccurate and the people who are the ones to supposedly keep our workplace the safest as can be are letting potentially fevered people in. However, recently the guard on duty responsible for taking all visitor’s and driver’s temperatures did deny access to a driver because his temperature was high. This past weekend truly did show that we are nothing but a number, it’s all about money, and this company that makes millions of dollars from our work simply have no care for the health and safety of their employees or our family’s. They had the scanner in place as we walked in but it was for company employees, drivers and visitors only. For that reason, there was a agreement signed between our plant manager, Tony Ellis and our USW Local 1 unit president Wilbur Smith, stating us union employees are required but wouldn’t get scanned until Monday the 23rd, we can call off for precautionary reasons with no pay, if we scan at 100. 4 or higher we have to get medically released but would be compensated. On the weekends and during the midnight shift there is 1-2 company employees and around 40-50 of us. The information provided shows that we all could indeed be exposed to or carrying Coronavirus COVID-19 in our place of work do to pure negligence of our well-being. All of our livelihoods are at stake to the people who are not taking our lives and entire nation’s health crisis serious enough. The people who are supposed to be responsible for us and keep us safe in the plant, the head of Human Resources and our head of Environmental Health and Safety, did the complete opposite by making the conscious decision to allow the workers who had a temperature of 96. 4 or higher enter our workplace while they are aware that it could read 4 degrees low... Putting not just us workers, but our children and entire community at a very high and potentially lethal health risk. It is in good spirit that there can be accountability held from the people who play the role in this very sad and unfortunate situation that we were vulnerably put in. It is too late for them to reverse track to do what should have righteously been done in the first place. This is a very serious and scary crisis we all now have to face in our workplace and now in our own homes.
